Looking Forward to Go Shopping in Gold Coast

In a week’s time, I’ll be in brisbane and Gold Coast for my vacation break… it’s been a long wait for me! I don’t think I can go shopping due to the strong Aussie currency right now but what I’m looking forward to is a relaxing time with some fellowship moments with family and friends.

All these years, the Gold Coast has been a very popular family holiday destinations, including the locals. It has rightly earned itself the number one vacation spot in the country. Due to its temperate climate the Gold Coast is an all year round vacation spot for everyone, young and old. There is no lack when it comes to choosing an accommodation at the Gold Coast cos the options are just mind boggling! You can find all kinds of accommodation – from backpackers to 5 star luxury, motel style to apartment buildings. Serviced apartments are popular among families with children as each apartment will come equipped with a kitchen and living room facilities.

For the beach goers, there are plenty of patrolled beaches and lagoons to choose from. Some prefer to spend it up at Jupiters Casino with the high rollers or head of to one of the many restaurant, nightclubs or bars.

Home to many theme parks including Seaworld, Dreamworld, Movieworld and Wet’n'Wild, Gold Coast is just the place to enjoy a vacation with your children. Swim with the dolphins, get up close to a koala or have the thrill of a lifetime on some of the awesome rides. I suppose those in the US will liken the Gold Coast to Florida and the theme parks. Similarly, orlando hotel reservations are plentiful for families all round the year!

For the shoppers, I know there are few places to visit at the Gold Coast – Pacific Fair Shopping mall, Harbour Town and not forgetting the markets at Surfers on the weekends. I can’t wait to go shopping in the markets (just window shopping!) – I adore the hand crafted products and homemade foods made by the locals. It is no wonder why the Gold Coast has become a popular place for those who want to retire in simple luxuries too.
