New Zealand Isn’t the Place To Go Shopping

The travel fairs are over and I just read that many travelers braved the rain to go shopping for the best holiday deals. As the economy begins to show signs of improvement, people are more opened to traveling and would go all out to seize good bargains for their travel plans.

One of my favourite holiday destinations has to be New Zealand. A beautiful country with lovely scenery and great people, it’s a great place to tour and enjoy a relaxing vacation. Few years ago, we rented a car and toured in both the north and south islands for almost a month. It was adventurous and fun and I really hope that we can do that again. Even though the shopping scene is New Zealand may not be that attractive, there are still some local brands and labels to look out for. When you rent a car to tour New Zealand, make sure the car comes with a comprehensive insurance, since cheap car insurance is easily available in the country.

I loved shopping in Christchurch art museum as they were handmade in New Zealand and the art fair was a draw on the weekends. Packed with travelers and locals, you shouldn’t miss shopping in the art museum if you are visiting Christchurch. Do keep in mind that the art fairs only happen on the weekends. If you are serious about shopping, then check out some local designers scene online and some of the boutiques can be found in Auckland.

Shopping aside, New Zealand offers the travelers lots of outdoor adventures and nature wonders. Even if you can’t go shopping for fashion, you can savor the gourmet fresh foods and enjoy the local culture in the purest form. Check out this Travel to New Zealand blog for some reviews.
