Go Shopping for New Homes

I’ve been shopping online for Aussie homes lately. DH has said that he isn’t going to buy for the first year so we may be renting for a while. There are so much to look for when you go shopping for new homes, isn’t it? Location, accessibility, facilities, neighbourhood and prices are all factors to consider.

After speaking to a few girl friends of mine, it seems that the women are the ones searching online for homes and the approval will be done by their husbands. I suppose women love looking at houses, furniture, furnishings, interiors…etc while men look at the prices! With today’s sophisticated technology, searching online for homes is convenient and easy. You can view the homes with images and virtual videos as they say, pictures speak a thousand words and it is true! Interesting, some owners who are renting or selling their homes don’t bother putting up images for their ads in the real estate site. I suppose they still haven’t understood the power of photos and images in the online world.

These days, I shop online at the comforts of my home. I am glad to escape the hot sun in the afternoons with online shopping. Whether it’s checking prices for a new sofa set for the new home or finding discount door hardware, the online stores offer lots of options. But for those who are tactile by nature, you may not find it pleasurable when you go shopping online.
