Go Shopping for La Mer Skincare Products

As I nearing the big four, I have tried many skincare products in the last few decades. I love to go shopping for skincare products and it is very therapeutic learning about what some of these products can do for the skin.

When it comes to anti aging, you get the women all ears. As I was shopping at my regular La Mer counter yesterday, I witnessed for myself that there were indeed many women (me included!) who weren’t ready for aging signs like wrinkles, sagging skin, sun spots, skin pigmentation…etc. Infact, we women would do anything to prevent, avoid or stay away from these skin issues. We will buy the latest and most promising anti aging product, all with the hope to stay young for a little longer.

As I was checking out an acne site on acnepril, I found out that women cared alot about their looks. We love the saying of ‘beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder’ but we will go great lengths to be ‘beautiful’ even though our beholder says we look good.

The bad news was, I ended up with the new La Mer Regenerating Serum as the shopping deals for this month came with a travel set of La Mer samples. I’ve only used it twice and can’t comment or review as yet. So give me a few more weeks and I should be able to share a review on the product.

Go Shopping for Juice Beauty in The Gardens

It is always a thrill to go shopping for new beauty products especially if I’m told that they are made of organic and natural ingredients. For a long time I have heard about Juice Beauty organic skincare but never had the opportunity to try it. So when it recently opened up in The Gardens, I dropped by to check out what this organic label has to offer.

With a lively and ‘healthy’ green interiors and shopfront, the store is nicely laid out with racks of organic solutions. It isn’t a big store but it’s spacious enough for one to move around to check out the range. The lady in the store was enthusiastic though she could have done more to introduce the various range of Juice Beauty products. Being a more inquisitive person, I was asking more questions to learn more and find out if there was anything I could try. Being a new organic store, they should at least hand out some samples to potential customers, otherwise, it would be hard to convince anyone to try out another new label. For instance, my husband was passing by an exercise equipment exhibition and the sales people was going all out to get any passerby to try out the treadmill.

So after spending about 10 minutes in the store, I decided to pick up the Green Apple Peel Full Strength, after learning that it was one of Juice Beauty’s bestsellers. I’ve only tried it once since I bought it so wouldn’t comment as yet until a couple more applications. However, I was kinda ‘shocked’ at the ‘shiny’ or brightening look on my face after rinsing off the mask… I wasn’t used to that look as it was usually ‘bright’. According to the official website, the product contains powerful hydroxy acid complex of certified organic apple, lemon, grape juices, raw cane sugar, white willowbark, vitamin antioxidants and essential nutrients exfoliates and hydrates the skin for a healthy, beautiful complexion.

Perhaps I will pick up a couple more things from Juice Beauty when I go shopping in The Gardens next time. Till then, let’s see how this Green Apple Peel Full Strength Mask will work for me.

Go Shopping for Online Deals

How do you go shopping for gifts and beauty products? Do you still frequent the mall or do you also shop online and grab the best shopping deals from your personal computer?

I know the answers will vary, depending on your needs and intention. I still like to make a trip to the mall every now and then and it’s largely due to the fact that I’m a tactile person. I like to feel things while looking visually at what I’m shopping for. The mall is also a place where I spent some quality time with my little one when he wants to go shopping for a new toy.

As for online shopping, I do that alot and I often use the web for price comparisons too. Reading reviews provide me additional information before deciding on a product purchase. Users’ reviews are powerful and it is easy to search the web for any kinds of reviews, from a beauty product to credit reports of any kind.

If you want to go shopping for beauty products, here are some nice places to begin your shopping spree. You will also find ongoing promotions at various shopping sites which help you save on your purchases. So with the weekends drawing nigh, you can choose to shop from home if you don’t feel like driving to a mall. Enjoy.

No Parabens Skincare

When you go shopping for skincare, what exactly do you look for? Do you go for attractive packaging or do you read the ingredients and choose those that contain the good stuff that will work for you?

I started paying attention to ingredients in my personal and skincare products when I was in my twenties. That was the time when I became more particular about my skin condition and choosing what was right for me. Since then, I became more aware of harmful ingredients and prefer to use products without parabens or fillers. If you are searching for skincare that contain no fillers, here’s a new online store known as Mango Madness Skin Care.

The online store carries a wide range of quality and dermatologist tested skincare products from anti-aging creams, under eye creams, luxury handmade soaps, shea body butters and makeup. What I like about the site is that you can read the list of ingredients used in the products and the products are free of parabens, estrogen, drying alcohol, fillers and extenders.

Shop with knowledge and read the ingredients in your skincare before buying them. When in doubt, ask or find out more what some ingredients can do for your skin. Otherwise, the internet is a good place to learn more about skincare ingredients and find out what’s beneficial for your skin.

It is hard to resist a handful of yummy cookies on a lazy weekend afternoon. I like to go shopping in Marks and Spencer for good cookies and biscuits when we are expecting some guests. Cookies and tea with good company is one of life’s simple and nicest pleasures.

It would be too much of a temptation to reach out for yummy snacks if people aiming to lose weight. Those who want to lose weight need to watch out for high calorie foods and thus, cookies isn’t always the best snacks to have.
