Go Shopping for Quality Mattress
I never thought I need to go shopping for a quality mattress until our upcoming move to down under. As such, my research began both in the webstores as well as the bedding shops and boy, I am confused with the choices in the marketplace.
For me, a back care mattress is what I need when I go shopping for mattresses and after a few weeks of research, I narrow to a few trusted brands. They are namely Sealy, Tempur-pedic, Simmons and Dunlopillo. I know there are more good brands out there but I realize that they are ‘more or less’ the same so it still boils down to what you want and your liking. My friend swears by Sealy’s Posturepedic mattress but I have yet to try one. My chiropractor suggested a orthopedic mattress that aligns the spine but it seems that all quality and good mattresses seem to deliver this same promise.
Memory foam, inner spring and latex ones are most popular and these three types are already confusing me when I go shopping in the stores. I believe the best way to shop for a mattress is to lie on the bed, toss and turn and test the comfort of the bed. Then again, it’s hard to test when you roll and sleep on the bed for five or ten minutes, isn’t it? Besides, I feel weird lying on the bed in front of a sales personnel! Don’t you think so?
