Go Shopping for Christmas
Christmas is here again and I believe most people are busy with the festive the last few weeks. I haven’t had much time to go shopping as we were too busy settling down in a new city. But it was still nice to watch shoppers in the stores and seeing those Christmas decorations on the streets.
My hubby and myself were too busy to think about buying each other a gift this year. Well, we did go shopping but it was for a new car we needed and after test driving a few cars within a span of few days, we settled for the mazda CX7. I suppose this would be our Christmas gift for ourselves and now we are awaiting to collect the car. There are so many gift ideas out there when you are shopping for unique gifts for her and him. And retailers are getting more and more creative each year. And with online shopping, it presents for options for the festive shopper.
Today is boxing day. It’s another day for those who love to go shopping for bargains. So get in the queue and shop till you drop before the new year begins! Merry Christmas to all!
Go Shopping for Cars and More
This is going to be our first Christmas spent in Australia and though we’ve been too busy with settling down, I still nostalgic during this festive season. I would love to go shopping this week for some last minute gifts and feel Christmasy about the season. Brisbane city may be a compact one but it is still a good place to shop for nice gifts in Queens street.
I don’t suppose DH is buying me a Christmas gift after that big splurge on my birthday gift. We had bought ourselves a big Christmas gift this year. In the last few days, we went shopping for a family car and after a few test drives, we had settled for a Mazda CX 7. With all the running around, I have been indulging in lots of snackies and chocolaty stuff. I suppose the best weight loss pill may be of help during this eating season too! But I believe in long term planning in getting my weight in check and therefore, I will be taking more walks in Kangaroo Point before we move to Carindale.
Tomorrow is Sunday and we’ll be going to Sunnybank to do some shopping. Hopefully we can feel revive with a little more crowd in that asian town.
Enjoying Online Shopping
I know some people still don’t subscribe to online shopping but I’ve been an avid shopper in the webstores for a long time.
Two weeks ago, I bought my second bag online and this time, I settled for a Chloe Paddington. It isn’t easy buying something of high value without feeling and taking a close look at it but I took that leap of faith and followed my heart. My dear friend from Singapore was kind enough to bring the bag with her when she visited me and I was very happy with my purchase. The bag turned out to be very nice and I am glad I made the right choice.
Last year, we bought a Murray Feiss lighting online for a special friend and it was another big step for us. Buying things online can be scary and wary for some but if you do your research well, you can avoid making expensive mistakes. If you are unsure, it helps to search for reviews and ask questions before making any online purchases.
Go Shopping with My Close Friend
I managed to go shopping for a couple of days before I left for Brissy. My girl friend of 25 years was in KL visiting me and we both did some girlie things we used to do.
We went for coffee a few nights and even did some shopping in Kate Spade, Le Sportsac, Coach and finally Louis Vuitton. It was nice sharing our passion for bags and enjoying each other’s company. My hubby had his fair share of fun catching up with his old friends and he bought his thule bike rack before we left. I was so glad that he bought me the new datejust ladies collection 31mm of white and rose gold and that was a truly memorable gift for my 40th birthday.
After all that shopping, I’m now in Brissy and it looks like it’s time to halt my shopping and focus on the settling down.
Go Shopping Online
Friends are all telling me that it won’t be so much to go shopping in Brisbane since the malls may not be as colorful as Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.
Somehow it’s not bothering much as I think it’s a good opportunity to save up some money in the next two years! Though I do like to go shopping and find that it’s indeed a fabulous retail therapy, getting less of that won’t hurt me at all, especially when I’ll be very busy with work and settling down. The thing is, with today’s sophisticated online technology, I can shop from home with an internet connection and it will be much easier than before. Whether I’m shopping for luxury items or just nfl t shirts, online shopping makes it convenient for anyone in the world. In fact, I just bought a Chloe Paddington bag last week from an online store.
I’ll be shopping in the next two days in the Gardens and mid valley before heading for Brisbane on Friday. Life will be a big change when the time comes…
