Go Shopping for Hubby’s Gift

I have been a really good girl since the start of this year cos whenever I go shopping in the malls, it’s always just groceries and food for the house. I believe it’s a blessing in disguise that the shopping scene in Brissy isn’t as attractive as Singapore. I’m buying less and spending more time cooking a new recipe for my family.

Next week is hubby’s forty-second birthday and I need to go shopping for the right gift for him. He’s quite a difficult person to buy a gift for as he’s not the dressed-up sort and he does have a mind of his own in many things. Perhaps I should buy him a pair of biking shoes or a helmet since he’s going into biking in a month’s time. A pair of holographic sights may be a great idea for him or maybe I should just give him a gift voucher! It would be nice shopping in the city if I have time next week but otherwise, I would just go shopping online for the right gift for him. I love to shop online these days as it’s more convenient and I can search through few sites within a short time.

It’s a public holiday tomorrow and we are planning to go shopping in Eumundi Markets. It’s going to be a nice outing for our family and I’m looking forward to it.

Go Shopping for Beauty and Health

I can understand how hard it is to lose those excess pounds as soon as I head to the supermarket aisles. There are so many goodies and sometimes i can spend an hour browsing the shelves in the supermarket. I love to go shopping for chocolates and desserts and it makes me happy when my favourite are on sale!

Though I don’t have weight excess issues, I do struggle with a flabby tummy when I overeat and I figure the best way is to find out how to flatten that tummy. There are lots of articles in the web teaching people on getting rid of belly fat and the effective ones require exercise and lots of efforts and determination. There is just no short cut to losing those pounds! I can go shopping for all the health food available but if I don’t exercise nothing is going to change! Actually we should learn to focus on beauty from within and eat foods that contribute to natural beauty. A bright and smooth complexion is what we all desire and there are foods that can help us achieve that. If you don not eat vitamin C rich foods like oranges, lemons and berries, your skin can begin to loose, sag and wrinkle in no time.

So when you go shopping this weekend, throw in a tray of citrus and berries for your skin sake!

Go Shopping for the New Home

When I go shopping with hubby, we are both in our own departments sourcing, researching and comparing prices for the things we need. Whenever I’m at the shops, I’ll be shopping for kitchenware and home furnishings and he will be in the audio visual section.

After weeks of shopping and researching in the audio visual stores, he had finally decided on what he wanted for the home theater. He was shopping for home audio speakers and he got a good deal in Clive Peeters for a set of Klipsch. He also chose his LCD LED tv and that will all done for his audio visual shopping. As for me, I got a block of Scanpan knives for our new house though I still prefer Henckels for the fine quality. Since David Jones is having a mid year sale, I bought a good set of Scanpan cooking sets at 50% which is a good deal for the quality. There are still some small things we need to get to make the house complete.

Hopefully I can head to harbour town again for some home furnishings shopping since the discounts are very attractive in the outlets. I still can’t believe that I bought a couple of Elle Macpherson lingerie for only $20! That was a real bargain!

Go Shopping for Gym Classes

In the next one month, I plan to go shopping for a good health gym in my region. It’s time to learn something new while getting back to some rhythmic exercise and pilates. I miss my pilates exercises and can’t wait to get started in a group class.

There are many fitness tips as the start of the year sets in. Healthy food options and diet are both important steps to follow. There are also tips that fake a healthier and trimmer body such us allowing a fake tan or bronzer! I’m not familiar with that but people are using sunbeds to get a tanned skin so as to look slimmer. Perhaps I should also go shopping for a set of kettle bells to tone up those forgotten muscles on my arms. Building my core strength is next and that’s why I need to head to Pilates soon! Some people are into extreme weight loss pills if they have excess fats to loose but if you don’t belong in that category, go for a trampoline which teaches you coordination and helps to burn off tension!

If you are shopping for a good gym to go to, you aren’t the only one. I’m on the look out for the best deals and with competition, many gyms are offering attractive promotions that entice. Free month use and extra bonuses are the things to look for if you want better value for your money!

Go Shopping and Finding Good Deals

The year end clearance sale is almost over but still I would go shopping and find great deals out there! It feels nice to find great deals, isn’t it?

What I found out over here in Brisbane is that you need to do lots of price comparisons when you are out shopping. Interestingly, you can find substantial savings from one store to another with a few footsteps away and thus it makes sense to be a smart shopper. When you take time to compare, you can save heaps over one shopping trip which gives you better value for your money. I have been busy settling down with the new home that I haven’t had time to go leisure shopping. I am glad that a huge shopping mall is just across my house and my retail therapy isn’t too far away. I need to exercise self discipline as it’s tempting to step out and go shopping whenever I feel that I need a little space! Once everything is settled in the new home, I would need to get on with work in the new home office and start reading some diet pill reviews for some new sites in my list.

Today, I should go shopping for my son’s new school shoes and get him ready for school next week. Once school starts, my time should free up a bit and I can do more to furnish the house and put things in place. I miss good shopping in Singapore though!
