Can’t Helped But to Go Shopping
The mid year school holidays is here in a few days’ time and I’m looking forward to some sleep-ins in the morning. It’s good to take a break from rushing brekky in the morning and getting my boy to wake up on time. The only down side is, I won’t be able to go shopping that often since I won’t have the need to step out of the house in the morning.
Few days ago, I couldn’t helped myself but to visit Laura Ashley which is having a good mid year sale. I managed to buy some nice ankle length pants at only $19.95 and I couldn’t resist those nice warm wool tops at $44.95. Years ago, I wouldn’t be able to buy a nice pair of Linen pants at $19.95 so I have good reasons to buy it. I walked out of the store with a little hole in my pocket as I added a set of King bed sheets which was a good buy at 70% off! I thought I should get a nice cushion near the lounge sofa at the fireplace mantel area.
Well, I comfort myself further that I will not go shopping after the sale ends. It’s definitely a good time to stock up some favourites at discounted prices. Who want to buy things at full price when you can get it at a discount?
Go Shopping Online for Winter Tops
Well, the weather is turning cooler and I have been putting on my warmest clothing since. I took the chance to go shopping online for some fleece tops and jackets since the mid year sale is on right now.
This month, I have had couple of bad experiences with water filter and hope that my ordeal will end soon. I haven’t been able to install my faucet to any countertop water filter and that is because of the small faucet aerator on that spout. It was annoying and I had wasted so much time looking for an adaptor that I could use. But all my efforts was to no avail. I got so fed up with finding the adaptor online that I decided to cheer myself up but looking at diamonds online.
The online shopping bug is still in me and I do feel like buying another winter jacket or winter knit from MacPac as it gets colder…. I just didn’t expect winter here to be so cold at night. Then again, it’s just the beginning of winter!
Priorities Differs for Everyone
Although I’m not a very sporty person, I still make sure I’m doing some form of exercise every other day. I used to do alot more stretches and cardio stuff but it seemed that my priorities are quite different now. For some people, their priorities for the week are centered around work while some would be focused on parenting the kids. Whatever it may be, just enjoy what you do and take pleasure in it.
My hubby is getting keen on mountain biking and I hope to join him in a trail bike experience one day. Some friends of mine are into garmin golf courses where they play at various golf courses every time but I’ve still yet to get a hang on that club! Next month, I would need to get on to some Pilates exercises and I’ve already had a gym membership awaiting me. It would be good to stretch my body again and I’m feeling a bit stiff with all the busy chores everyday.
On the upside, the weekends is up two days from now and I am planning to go shopping for some outdoor and ski jackets for our coming trip to Melbourne!
Just Love to Go Shopping in Aldi
These days, hubby and myself look forward to Thursday as that’s the day we both will go shopping in Aldi for their weekly specials!
This is such a great place to get most of your household goods and groceries at lower prices. We find that our money goes a longer way at Aldi and every week, the store launches specials for all different items – fruits, vegetables, meats, cooking ingredients, clothing, household goods…etc. You can find very good quality things in the store at a fraction of the price compared to other products in the marketplace. We were rather impressed when the store declares that they are the first store that don’t use artificial colours. This afternoon, I bought a pair of snowboarding ski pants for only $25 and that’ an absolute deal! If only they stock greeting cards, I still have to search online for invitationbox.com christmas cards.
Everyone of us is looking for better deals when we go shopping and I believe Aldi knows that too. We will continue to be loyal customers of this fabulous family store and let’s hope they add more organic foods to their range!
