Go Shopping for Baking Ingredients
If you tell me to go shopping in the past, I would be really excited and agree right away. But these days, I would prefer to go shopping from the comforts of my home!
My husband quite rather shocked to hear that I bought some baking ingredients online…. he thought I would only buy apparel and deals. Well, if I can get through the customs here, I would be buying more. The ones in my list would be Valrhona chocolate, durian puree, egg white powder and more!
And before I forget, I need to shop for online for garmin golf course maps for my hubby who is planning for a golf trip with some friends. He thinks I’m better in online searching and shopping so I would better deliver the material! After that, I’m going shopping again for more ingredients for my next baking frenzy!
Shopping Online for Baking Stuff
My husband is delighted that I did not go shopping though the mid year sale has been on for a while. I have my baking passion to thank cos I have been busy in the kitchen!
Lately, I have been baking quite a lot and it’s been so enjoyable and fun! So now that I’m into baking, I’m shopping online for baking aids and other ingredients I can’t get in the stores! After my chiffon cake craze a month ago, I’m experimenting more in my baking and it’s been a wonderful learning curve.
Since I like cookies and light cakes, I’m learning how to bake them well. In the past, I would buy a pack of mrs fields cookies and have them for snacks. I have yet learned how to make soft cookies but for now, I’m learning how to make light cakes.
Yesterday I just ordered some yuzu juice for my baking and I’m still shopping for the right online store to buy my meringue powder – it’s been so hard to find the right ones. I think I would need to do my googling online and hopefully I can find someone to bring me some mini chiffon tins for my baking craze!
Wanna Go Shopping Again
Seriously… ask me to choose between shopping in the stores and shopping from home, I prefer to go shopping online. It can be impulse shopping so beware!
Since buying my Tefal pressure cooker, I had bought another one two days ago…. a Fagor pressure cooker 4L! It was a good deal so I found it hard to turn it down! Well, my hubby for once didn’t complain and I am happy. I just received another email informing me about a 40% off on selected merino wear at Icebreaker and I am tempted to go shopping again! I like Icebreaker – they are sporty, nice to wear, breathable and elegant. Then, I need to find a reason to buy another merino top cos I just bought two months ago. But he just ordered his medical step stools last week and I didn’t nag about it too!
Did I say it was two months ago? That is a long time, isn’t it?
Go Shopping for my a Pressure Cooker
I have been quiet… I have been busy and yes, I did go shopping online and my latest buy? A Tefal Clipso Easy Pressure Cooker. And I am loving it!
Since I bought the pressure cooker, I have been educating myself with recipes on this new cooker and I love the yummy dishes I had cooked up so far! From curries to soups, my Tefal Clipso is been a great item to have in our kitchen and my husband is so happy with my online purchase. At first, he wasn’t pleased that I bought a pressure cooker online but after cooking him so many yummy curries, he had changed his mind! Now, I can’t wait to try out another new recipe on the cooker and it’s such a great help in the kitchen!
I told so many friends that I went shopping online for my pressure cooker and convinced them to do the same… but they weren’t too comfortable about it. I suppose there are still many who won’t shop online and I guess they don’t know the savings they are missing! My uncle bought a receipt printer and he was happy about it. I bought so many things online and so far, I have had many good experiences.
Enough of my shopping and indulgence, I did not go shopping for clothing last few weeks and I’m actually very happy with myself!
