Go Shopping for Bakeware

Life in down under has been nice and I’m enjoying my time baking and experimenting with all kinds of recipes. It’s been fun. I love to go shopping in the kitchen stores and it’s hard to resist adding another piece of bakeware to my collection!

I had bought a few bakeware online and I find myself shopping for more things that I believe I would need in my baking frenzy. Just a moment ago, I stumbled upon a baking equipment online store and I just have to go shopping for another chiffon tin. I had three tins but somehow, I needed one that works well with my 5 eggs recipe. So I figure out that a 18 or 21 cm will be good to have!

Christmas is here in few months’ time and I would be shopping for some festive cards and little gifts for friends. Hubby has suggested ordering Christmas photo cards as they are more meaningful and there’s a personal touch in these cards. Well, this would mean more shopping for me and I think I can get used to choosing cards online every season!

Go Shopping Online for Books

I’ve been a good girl in the last one month as I did not go shopping in the stores, nor did I buy any wearables from the online stores.

Having said that, I did go shopping for my six year old when he requested for more Geronimo Stilton books. I was quite glad that he had taken an interest in paperbacks and it would be better than sitting in front of the computer! I took the opportunity to shop for some batteries for cell phones and a couple of baking books that I heard about. Actually I haven’t shopped much for books online but since my first book by Keiko Ishida, I began to realize that it is much easier to order a book online than go to the local bookstores, only to be greeted with disappointment. Besides the book prices are more competitive and they work out cheaper even after shipping is factored in.

It looks like I will continue to go shopping for books online in the near future. It’s just been an amazing experience so far!

Go Shopping for Baking Stuff

I have been good lately. My online shopping has cut down and I didn’t go shopping in the stores that often now.

My hubby is happy as he’s been keeping a close track on our family expenditure in the last few months. He often warns me that the world economy isn’t rosy and we must be prudent. I do agree with him and that explains why I haven’t been shopping much in the private shopping clubs. However, I did go shopping for a couple of baking books and I’m feeling happy about it. Since rekindling my joy in baking, my oven has been working every other day and I enjoy blending, mixing, folding and following recipes! It’s such a wonderful feeling to bake a nice cake or some homey cookies for the family. I suppose baking at home has kept me busy and thus, shopping is not my passion now :)

As for the big man at home, he’s still busy with financial news and trading everyday. He’s hearing alot about silver dollars but he is still doing his research to learn more. Like shopping, he needs to shop for the best company to invest and buy various types of commodities. So he does shop too, but different things from me.

I’m going to go shopping for another new cake book and maybe a couple of new chiffon cake tins!
