Go Shopping for Hair Health
My friends think I am crazy when I told them that I do go shopping for good hair stylists and hair salons. Well, I am one believer that we need to take care of our crown of glory.
Nutrition is very important for the body. Even though hair and fingernails are just dead cells, they are an important indicator of the general well being of a person. Nutrition for the body is derived from the food we take. When the body does not receive the essential nutrients, or if it loses the ability to absorb nutrients from the food it receives, it causes the body to use up internal resources. This causes weakness in the body parts and is reflected in the skin, hair and fingernails. Many busy people suffer from stress hair loss today.
In order to have healthy hair and finger nails, it is very important to consume food that contains some major vitamins like vitamin A (produces healthy sebum in the scalp), vitamin C (antioxidant), vitamin E (improves scalp circulation), Biotin (produces Keratin), Inositol (keeps hair follicles healthy), Niacin (promotes scalp circulation) and pantothenic acid, Para-Aminobenzoic Acid, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 that prevent graying and hair loss. Of these, vitamin E is found to have a significant influence on the health of not just hair but also skin and fingernails.
Research Before You Go Shopping
It helps to do your research before you go shopping for anything especially high ticket items. With online technology, doing your research is a breeze.
I was checking out on some beauty information and was learning more about essential oils and the benefits. In the past, it was just about knowing diets that work fast but now, I’m moving on to essential oils. All-natural and pure essential oils are aromatic or fragrant extracts of trees, flowers, herbs, spices, bark, fruits, seeds, and fibers by the process of distillation, or solvent extraction. Since essential oils are essential to the plants‚Äô growth process and to the substances that give them their special fragrance, they are also known as life force There are more than 150 different types of essential oils that are used in aromatherapy. Some of the essential oils are more expensive than others. This could be due to the rarity of the sources or the complexity of the extraction process. Emu Oil, extracted from Emu bird is very expensive but excellent for the skin, wrinkles, and overall beauty. On the other hand, orange, lemon, sage, rosemary, patchouli, and others are fairly inexpensive and easily available in the supermarkets.
So it helps to seriously do your research before your go shopping so that you won’t be making unnecessary shopping mistakes!
Go Shopping for Ice Plant Lotion for Dry Skin
I love to go shopping for good skin moisturizers and just a few months back, my physiotherapist introduced the Dr.Hauschka Med Ice Plant Body Care Lotion to me and this is my favourite moisturizer since.
If you have very dry skin like mine, then you should try out this fantastic and pampering lotion. As stated in the official website, the lotion is the ideal basic daily skin care when you feel that your skin is feeling very dry, irritated or itchy. The lotion is light and one application will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth. The lotion:
Reduces the feeling of tightness and helps prevent itching
Soothes and provides long-lasting care with the moisture-rich ice plant
Fortifies the skin’s own powers of defence and natural barrier function
The combination of the finest oils is specially formulated for the needs of very dry and hypersensitive skin
Does not leave a greasy film
Developed in co-operation with experienced dermatologists
This is about the best lotion for my dry skin and it is great if you are exposed regularly to the sun or tanning bed lotion. The lotion is easy to use and it is so light and feels nice on the skin. I use it twice a day and a bottle last me for more than a month! The next time you go shopping at the beauty department, don’t forget to ask for a sample of this fabulous ice plant lotion.
My Cold Plasma Order Shipped!
After a long wait of three weeks, I finally received a shipping confirmation from Dr Perricone! This is the thing I dislike when I go shopping online – delayed shipment but other than that, online shopping is great!
I managed to try on a sample of Dr Perricone’s Cold Plasma at the local counter here. I was happy about the smooth and fluid texture of the product. From the website, I found out that this is the result of a 5 years intensive research and it serves to address ten signs of aging which we are all concerned about:
• wrinkles
• enlarged pores
• dryness
• discoloration
• loss of firmness
• redness
• uneven skin tone
• impurities
• loss of smoothness
• loss of radiance
Among the ten signs, I have at least five of them so I figure that this is a product worth trying. The auto dropship promotion is attractive with a few freebies with the order. I am not surprised if Dr Perricone can come up with more inventions to address our aging concern and maybe new acne treatments for those who are suffering from bad skin.
Enough said, the one sachet of Cold Plasma sample was well absorbed by the skin and it did give a smooth finish. It isn’t a moisturiser so you need to apply a finishing moisturizer to protect the face after the application. I like the texture and it’s too soon to note a visible difference on my skin unless I continue the product for another few weeks.
Hopefully with my coming order of Cold Plasma for face and eye, I won’t need to go shopping for any more anti-aging stuff.
Go Shopping for More Skincare
I’ve been in and out the house since early June and finally, it’s good to be grounded. Whenever I travel, my beauty regimen is mixed up and I normally end up with the beauty samples or travel size products in my skincare pouch. Sometimes I go shopping for new skincare products but other times, I’ll use a mixture of cleanser, eye cream, mask and moisturizer of different labels.
Now that I’m home for a good month before the next trip in end July, I’m putting my skin through a short treatment with Dr Hauschka Rhythmic Conditioner ampules. I do it once every two or three months, depending on my skin’s needs. I felt like my skin needs a breather and a rebalancing and these calming conditioners do the job well. When I was away for a camp last weekend, I made it a point to include lots of fruits and salads in my meals. Sometimes, I can end up with an unhealthy diet when I’m out and about. I didn’t get a chance to utilize the fitness equipment in the hotel as there was too much to do. But I did get some exercise from walking and exploring the surroundings.
I also heard about Dr Perricone’s products when I was in Singapore though I didn’t have the time to go shopping for my information. My physiotherapist raved about the No Foundation Foundation and I’m hoping to get hold of one myself. Dr Perricone specializes in anti aging skincare and many of the products do not contain parabens and focus on the holistic approach to aging. For more information, check out http://www.perriconemd.com – I guess I would need to go shopping online if I want to give the products a try.
