timeless luxury at anteprima
The anteprima bags on display at The Paragon for this season is awesome. Created by Izumi Ogino, the Anteprima woman is one who appreciates timeless beauty and luxury. She is modern, sophisticated and contemporary. Anteprima bags and shoes need no introduction in Hollywood, Milan or the world of fashion. I find the beaded bags very pretty, attractive, feminine, fashionable but I’m not sure if I’m ready to pay for one. No, I haven’t stepped into an Anteprima shop but perhaps I should the next time I’m out for a shopping spree.

It is no wonder if this label has attracted many members of the media like InStyle, Lou Lou, Now and others. I visited Stella McCartney’s store in Singapore at the Ngee Ann City Shopping Centre last year. That was probably the first time I saw her signature collection of women’s wear and apparel which reflected modernity and elegance and backed by her love for the environment. Being a lifelong vegetarian, you can only find quality patent leather bags and shoes by Stella though some may lament at the dear price tag to non-leather goods.

I couldn’t resist those chic, well cut and sophisticated short jackets from AllDressedUp, a Singapore label and signature collection of The Link founded by Tina Tan-Leo. What I like about AllDressedUp clothing is the versatility and creative thought behind each item. It’s modernity mixed with spontaneity and ultimate sophistication. They aren’t cheap to begin with and the only reason why some of them come with a hefty price tag is because of the detailing and high end fabrics used. Design detailing is the signature of AllDressedUp clothing. A simple sleeveless top looks unique with cute pleated trimmings and a spandex cropped jacket has stylish ruffles at the back and sleeves – things like these. AllDressedUp line of urban clothing can be found in selected Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the US, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Brisbane, Jakarta and of course, Singapore!
