My little boy always gets curious whenever he sees me popping something in my mouth, especially I head for the fridge. At this age, he loves to explore and try new stuff, food included. I’m glad that he’s not fussy about what’s on the table except for foods too unfamiliar or foreign looking. Generally, he eats healthy snacks with occasional binges and sinful indulgences, just like his mom :P

easter eggs at see’s candies

I was given a box of See’s Candies chocolates before we left the US. Oh, how I love See’s Candies! I first tried them when I traveled to Hong Kong for work and the white interiors and classic shopfront captivated me right away. Then, they opened up in Singapore for a few years and was closed shortly after. With Easter around the corner, the Easter candies and chocolates at See’s are delightful and lovely. Since my bro in law is visiting end of this month, I’m hoping that he can bring us some – I miss these yummy treats from See’s!

getting serious in culinary

No, I’m not a great cook though I do enjoy roasting a chicken or baking a warm chocolate cake when I feel like it. I attended a baking class few months ago and promised to get a little more serious in baking in 2008. While checking out a Las Vegas culinary school at http://www.vegasculinary.com/, I wonder what will it be like if I were to choose hospitality for a career in my younger days.

I must say that the internet has made it easy for me to shop for food recipes of any kind – poultry, cakes, desserts, italian, asian, healthy treats, you name it, you find it. But if you are after a career in F&B or like to be an aspiring chef, a reputable culinary school training is the way to go.

have you heard of chocolat factory?

I was told to check out Chocolat Factory that hailed from Spain. According to a friend of mine, it is delicious, smooth, fine, luxurious and decadent! No, I haven’t tried it yet. I have tried Royce from Japan, Godiva, Prestat, Chocolate by the bald man and many others but not this one. I definitely have to hop over to the shops in Singapore to savour some! The website is cool! So chocolate fans, don’t miss out on this one!
