can’t resist alldressedup

I couldn’t resist those chic, well cut and sophisticated short jackets from AllDressedUp, a Singapore label and signature collection of The Link founded by Tina Tan-Leo. What I like about AllDressedUp clothing is the versatility and creative thought behind each item. It’s modernity mixed with spontaneity and ultimate sophistication. They aren’t cheap to begin with and the only reason why some of them come with a hefty price tag is because of the detailing and high end fabrics used. Design detailing is the signature of AllDressedUp clothing. A simple sleeveless top looks unique with cute pleated trimmings and a spandex cropped jacket has stylish ruffles at the back and sleeves – things like these. AllDressedUp line of urban clothing can be found in selected Saks Fifth Avenue stores in the US, Kuwait, Hong Kong, Bahrain, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Brisbane, Jakarta and of course, Singapore!

Finally, the spring/summer collection at Camper is in! For those who missed the sale that lasted for a couple of months, you would have to wait for another one – which I’m not sure when. But if you like to check out the latest collection at Camper, now is the time. New designs and styles are added and I can only tell you that they are getting cooler, prettier, trendier, more unique in the various collections. You can guess that my favourite collection has to be the TWINS – “Not identical but complimentary.” But I won’t be splurging for another in the next few months – a promise I made to my other half and myself. But I didn’t say I would stop admiring!

camper reopened in singapore

campertwins.jpg

When I heard that Camper was reopened in Singapore, I was so excited – yay! For those of you in that region, Camper is now opened at Vivo City and if you are in Malaysia, you can find Camper at The Gardens at Mid Valley City. I also found out that you can now order Camper if you live in Singapore, Hong Kong or China. The interesting thing is it will be cheaper if the order is done with an US address and it can a significant difference.

Take for instance, I saw this pair of Twins in Singapore, retailing at S$289. At the online shop, if you are ordering from US, it’s $150 USD but if you are ordering it from Singapore, it’s $179 USD and if in China, it’s $223 USD!! Don’t ask me why but that’s what I just found out. So if you have Vpost in Singapore, you can still get it at $150. I’m hoping to order this one when I’m in the US!

my favourite maternity and nursing store

flamencolsredenlge-090__091006.gif

I’m an extended nursing mom who beat all odds to nurse Clayton for 2 years. Looking back, it was both a tiring but rewarding journey. I won’t forget the disrupted sleep for that two years and all the experiences I had gone through. One of the fun things as a nursing mom for me was to constantly shop for the most stylish nursing wear I could find in the web.

Of course, my favourite online store had to be MothersEnVogue, owned by a good friend of mine. MEV has a beautiful collection of trendy maternity and nursing clothes specially made for today’s modern women. I used to make frequent trips to her store in Singapore and it was always great trying out the new styles… how vain I was :P So moms to be and nursing moms, head down and check out MothersEnvogue dot com.
