Almost every woman would have at least a garland of pearl necklace, bracelet or a pair of pearl earrings in her jewelry box. I must confess that I was never a big fan of pearls until a good friend started shopping for her pair of freshwater pearls for her wedding. She looked so gorgeous and stunning though it was just a simple pair of freshwater pearl earrings. Since then, I had paid more attention to these pearly treasures.

nutcracker ballet
Few years ago, I worked for an event company that organized broadway musicals like Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Sound of music, Annie and other popular theatrical shows. I enjoy these musicals, the music, the choreography, the creative props, the singing and the entire setup.
I know of a ballet dancer friend who is planning to travel to the US for a vacation in November. And when she finds out that the Nutcracker Ballet is playing in San Diego in November, she is already making plans to watch the show. Though I know nothing about ballet, I have heard raving reviews of this timeless ballet. Actually I am more keen on the gift shop that stocks a nice range of apparel, jewelry, books, toys and of course, nutcrackers!
