Shopping for Organic and Natural Options
I was reading an article from a health and natural beauty magazine the other day and it was talking about how common is eczema among children in our modern world today. In fact, I am an eczema sufferer and that prompted me to read further.
The thing is, I didn’t find out about my eczema condition until I was a teenager. I read that it can be hereditary and there’s nothing much you can do to stop it. But there are certain measures you can take if you are an eczema sufferer. One of them is to avoid commercial body wash and shampoo. If possible, go shopping for organic options or natural ones without petrochemicals and parabens. The perfume oils and chemicals in most commercial products can trigger skin sensitivities and cause your eczema condition to worsen. There are alot of eczema information in the web. You should consult a skin doctor if you aren’t sure about your condition. These days, you can buy hypo allergic pillows, blankets and mattresses and this can be helpful if you find yourself reacting to certain material.
Once again, I would say that the internet will present alot of options for organic and natural products for eczema sufferers and all you have to do is to spend some time looking and reading about them. As the demand for organic skincare rises, it has become more affordable and easily available. Search for your nearest organic store to find out more.
Go Shopping for Natural Skin Care
Whenever I’m back in the lion city, I’ll go shopping for my Dr Hauschka skincare products. The nice thing about buying from your regular sales promoter is that you get lots of freebies like travel size skincare products and special promotions. It’s nice to have these little bonuses as they make you feel that loyalty pays!
I love Dr Hauschka products for its effectiveness and quality. These days, you will notice that skin care using natural ingredients offers great variety when you go shopping. There are facial cleansers, scrubs, moisturizing creams, and face masks. Don’t worry because indications for use are usually found with the recipes. The recipes indicate whether the mixture is for normal, dry, oily, sensitive, and acne-prone skin. Some are even more specialized as blackhead removers or whitening solutions. I’ve heard from a Mesothelioma lawyer friend that you should read the labels to find out what are the natural ingredients that are top in the list.

Natural skin care routine have many advantages. First, the ingredients are easily available and the choices are great. They are also natural, thus, greatly reducing risks of allergies or skin irritations. Second, the ingredients are cheap, which translates into more savings more you. Third, you can modify the recipes to suit your needs. Since the risks for irritations are minimal, experimentations are relatively safe. Fourth, vitamins and antioxidants are naturally found in fruits, while milk and honey have restorative properties. Therefore, you get the same vitamins found in commercial products while limiting or eradicating chemicals.
No Parabens Skincare
When you go shopping for skincare, what exactly do you look for? Do you go for attractive packaging or do you read the ingredients and choose those that contain the good stuff that will work for you?
I started paying attention to ingredients in my personal and skincare products when I was in my twenties. That was the time when I became more particular about my skin condition and choosing what was right for me. Since then, I became more aware of harmful ingredients and prefer to use products without parabens or fillers. If you are searching for skincare that contain no fillers, here’s a new online store known as Mango Madness Skin Care.
The online store carries a wide range of quality and dermatologist tested skincare products from anti-aging creams, under eye creams, luxury handmade soaps, shea body butters and makeup. What I like about the site is that you can read the list of ingredients used in the products and the products are free of parabens, estrogen, drying alcohol, fillers and extenders.
Shop with knowledge and read the ingredients in your skincare before buying them. When in doubt, ask or find out more what some ingredients can do for your skin. Otherwise, the internet is a good place to learn more about skincare ingredients and find out what’s beneficial for your skin.

Go Shopping for Natural and Organic Products For Kids
Since becoming a mom more than five years ago, I have taken a keen interest in natural and organic skin care products for children. This gave me a good excuse to go shopping for new organic and natural skin care for my son. As he has mild eczema, I tend to try out new products that can help his condition.
Over the years, I have gathered a few of my personal favourites. I like to go shopping in the health stores and will pick up any good products to try. Some of my favourites include Thursday Plantation Tea tree oil from Australia. It is a fabulous antiseptic and I keep a bottle with me everywhere I go. It’s great for cuts, insect bites and wounds. The California Baby range from the US is my favorite too, particularly the calendula cream. It is calming and works well to heal the skin gently, especially if your child is suffering from an itch.
Another of my favourite is the Australian Lucas PaPaw Ointment made of pure paw paw. It is antiseptic and works well for any kind of rash, cuts, bruises, wounds, insect bites and even scalds. The other day, I scalded myself with a hot plate and the Lucas PaPaw ointment healed the bruised area gently and nicely. I strongly recommend that every mom keeps a tube of the Lucas PaPaw ointment in her bag.
I bought a tube for my cousin who had been on ephedra diet pill for a while and the ointment worked wonders for her little boy who had bad eczema rash last summer. The rash was caused by some chemicals present in the sunblock and her baby’s skin reacted to it badly.
Till I go shopping for more natural and organic skin care stuff, you can find Lucas PaPaw ointment in most Australian chemists and health stores. Otherwise, try searching them online for the nearest store that carries the product.
Go Shopping For Sunscreen
If you ask me what is one skin care product I can’t leave home without, it would be my sunscreen. Everytime I go shopping in the beauty department, I’ll watch out for new products that will help me get rid of those brown spots on my face. I have to say that I haven’t found a ‘miracle’ product so far, perhaps there isn’t at all.
Well, the thing is the major factor in our skin prematurely aging can be attributed to the sun. The sun damage you see on your face today could have started over ten or twenty years ago. When it comes to sun damage prevention is much better than cure.
Here are some ways to prevent sun damage of your skin:
. Wear a high protection factor sunscreen every day on the face, neck and dÈcolletage
. Wear a hat whenever you are outside; even to hang out the washing (I know many of us don’t do that!)
. Wear make-up that contains sunscreen (Mineral makeup contains natural sunscreen)
. Try to remain in the shade whenever possible
Though the process of aging is a natural one which differs from one person to another, but we can do our part to slow down this aging process with the proper prevention methods and relevant natural skin care techniques.
And for my brown spots, some people are suggesting microdermabrasion treatment over a period of time. Then again, I still need to go shopping for the right ones before parting with my hard earned money
