Go Shopping for Villas in Seminyak Bali
Shopping for an accommodation for our family vacation has never been more fun than now. After hubby agreed to our family vacation to Bali, I was excited to go shopping for the beautiful villas in Seminyak, Bali.
See, I know very little about Bali. I was there more than 15 years ago and I am 101% sure that the entire island has changed. Bali is now a popular destination for honeymooners, families, leisure seekers, wedding couples…etc. After searching and reading up reviews of the villas in Seminyak, I am totally impressed by what I saw. The photographs depicted were not only attractive, they were so enticing! Luxury villas in Seminyak such as the Legion and The Samaya charge around $700+ a night. I know it is very affordable for some of you who live in places like Europe, Australia and US but for the asians, $700 USD a night’s stay for a vacation is expensive. Yet, the reviews said that ‘it’s worth it’!
I am tempted to book ourselves in The Samaya but towering at $700 over a night during peak season, it’s just too much of a splurge. I would prefer to stick to a more affordable Seminyak villa and use the rest of the savings for shopping in Bali! One thing I know, I won’t need to splurge much on transportation as catching a taxi ride to popular places like Kuta is very cheap. Besides, many of the villas offer drop-offs at Seminyak/Legion area.
So it’s going to be a wonderful vacation for our family. We won’t need to rent a car to get around like some of our previous vacations but for those who are taking long trips, check out www.goodsamesp.com for your travel convenience and peace of mind. It’s still three more months before our bali trip and I am too eager to relax and enjoy those wonderful massages and spa treatments. For more Bali accommodations search, click on the link.
Go Shopping On a Budget
How many of us like to hear that word ‘budget’ being told to us when we plan to go shopping during a sale? On many occasiona, I had been reminded that we were on budget during our vacations. And when that was said, it meant ‘don’t buy things that you don’t need!’
Having a budget isn’t a bad thing cos it helps us stay financially sound and prevent us from getting into unwanted debts. I have read of people who overspent on their credit cards and ended up in debts. This not only jeopardize the family’s plans but it put the family in a bad situation. Some people are organized enough to use home budgeting software to plan their family’s expenditure. Otherwise, you should have an idea how your income or allowance should be spent every month. Financial planning should start early so it’s also good to educate your children about the importance of budgeting.
In one month’s time, we’ll be going for a short vacation and I know hubby will remind me about our travel budget again. But before I take off, I would need to go shopping for a new luggage for the family. And the best place to search for a good deal can be found at this online store that offers discount prices on wheeled carry-on luggage from top brands

New Zealand Isn’t the Place To Go Shopping
The travel fairs are over and I just read that many travelers braved the rain to go shopping for the best holiday deals. As the economy begins to show signs of improvement, people are more opened to traveling and would go all out to seize good bargains for their travel plans.
One of my favourite holiday destinations has to be New Zealand. A beautiful country with lovely scenery and great people, it’s a great place to tour and enjoy a relaxing vacation. Few years ago, we rented a car and toured in both the north and south islands for almost a month. It was adventurous and fun and I really hope that we can do that again. Even though the shopping scene is New Zealand may not be that attractive, there are still some local brands and labels to look out for. When you rent a car to tour New Zealand, make sure the car comes with a comprehensive insurance, since cheap car insurance is easily available in the country.
I loved shopping in Christchurch art museum as they were handmade in New Zealand and the art fair was a draw on the weekends. Packed with travelers and locals, you shouldn’t miss shopping in the art museum if you are visiting Christchurch. Do keep in mind that the art fairs only happen on the weekends. If you are serious about shopping, then check out some local designers scene online and some of the boutiques can be found in Auckland.
Shopping aside, New Zealand offers the travelers lots of outdoor adventures and nature wonders. Even if you can’t go shopping for fashion, you can savor the gourmet fresh foods and enjoy the local culture in the purest form. Check out this Travel to New Zealand blog for some reviews.
Go Shopping When You Travel
Are you a travel bug like me? I’m not only a shopping bug but I love traveling too. Somehow over the years, I tend to get more selective when I go shopping. Not sure if it’s the age bit. I find big malls very tiring and gone were the days where I could shop for few hours straight!
These days, a couple of hours and I’m dead beat. Plus, I am not so attractive to big malls but malls with good selection of what I like and need. It’s certain nice to visit big and new malls but sometimes, all branded and signature stores stock the same stuff so it can get pretty boring. But when I travel, I try to do some research before my arrival in the new city. Since time is often limited during my travel vacations, I prefer to go shopping for unique and hard-to-find stuff which can include clothing, jewelry and shops.
Some travel vacations combine very well with fun and shopping like the orlando vacations. I read that there is something for everyone in a place like this. Kids are entertained while adults can have their fair share of fun – whether it’s golf or shopping.
Wherever you plan to go this holiday season, be sure to go shopping for some great buys this Christmas. Don’t forget to reward yourself for the entire year of hardwork and toil.
Go Shopping in Barcelona and More
Few weeks ago, some of my traveling buddies were coaxing me to a Europe vacation next year. Well, Europe is one place I would love to go shopping for unique and artistic fashion, especially London and Spain.
For a long time, I’ve been thinking about taking a trip to Barcelona. But due to a busy work and parenting schedule, I still can’t make it for the trip. I have often heard wonderful reports about the shopping scene there. Besides, there are lots to capture for those who love art, architecture and culture. For someone who has never been to Barcelona, you may want to consider taking tours in Barcelona. With guided assistance, your vacation can be hassle free and enjoyable.
Searching for the right tour is easy at Barcelona City Tours website as all the tours are categorized according to various interests. There are walking tours, adventure tours, bike tours, bus tours and even private tours, to name a few. These tours are designed to grant the visitor a deep insight of the various places of attractions and highlights.
So whether you choose to go shopping in Barcelona or dine in some of the best restaurants, I believe a vacation to this fabulous city will leave memories that last for a long time.
