Go Shopping for Anniversary Gifts
I am planning to go shopping for anniversary gifts this week.
Anniversary gifts include flowers, candles, photo frames, cakes, luxury boxes but there are some other exciting gift ideas around. A novel gift idea for such moment would gifting the newspaper of the wedding day that shall remind them of the happenings of the world on the day they go wedded. You can also pamper the couple with bed and breakfast vouchers, cruise or resort tickets for two so that they spend a few days away from the busy routine life. I suggest to some friends in Networking & Telecomm Jobs to prepare the gift basket that includes artworks like pencil sketches of the couples, watercolor or oil painting that are good emotional gift ideas.
You can also include wine bottles that carry the name of the couple and some message or Mr. and Mrs. Chocolate shaped candies, collections of happy ending romantic movies are some other exciting ideas. The anniversary gift basket can be filled with things such as flowers, chocolate candies, and perfume bottles or else you can also make a gift basket of your own whereby you can buy bulk candy from the store and fill the basket. You can also make choice of the basket a little different too because a child will be happy with a backpack filled with candies instead of an ordinary basket whereas a woman will find other cosmetic or handbag useful.
Go Shopping in Singapore in December!
It’s the weekend and my fingers are itching for more baking again! I think I would have to go shopping for more free range eggs if I am going to bake some more chiffon cakes and it’s just something I love doing!
I feel extremely relaxed when it’s a friday and I feel so light and easy! Tomorrow we will be heading to the city for Brisbane festival and would stay for fireworks in the evening. I believe it would be a nice day and I can’t wait to have a nice hot chocolate by the river! I have to do some online shopping later for last minute father’s day gifts and I am looking a site selling wheels and tires. It’s hard to find the right gift for hubby but let’s hope my boy bought him a good one so I don’t need to get another for him!
More time to go shopping in December cos I’m going back to Singapore… can’t wait to eat and shop in Orchard road and do the things I love doing. Six weeks will be a long break and it’s been a long time since I spend so much time back home. I must discipline myself not to shop or buy too much but is this possible when there’s so much choices out there!
Go Shopping for Cake Tins
Two weeks ago, I decided to go shopping online for more cake tins and baking accessories. I find myself craving for some Chinese New Years goodies and favourites and now that I can’t them so easily in Australia, the best way is to bake my own.
After days of search in big G, I compared a few recipes for pineapple tarts and kuih bangkit (tapioca flour biscuits) and decided to have a go. I bought a few cookie cutters online and I was all ready to experiment and take that baking plunge! Last week, I baked my first batch of pineapple tarts and it was a good success. Everyone loved them and I was already making my second batch two days ago! My kuih bangkit didn’t turned out on the first attempt because the water content in the coconut milk was too high…
My new chiffon tins arrived yesterday and my hubby wasn’t oo happy that I went shopping again for more tins! I love to go shopping for baking stuff…. never too much in my cupboard cos I get to use all of them! Later, I would need to go shopping for some equestrian stuff and maybe pick up an english horse tack if the price is right.
Tomorrow is Friday and the weekends is here. I’m looking forward to the river fire this Saturday and it would be nice for my little one!
Shopping Online for Baking Stuff
My husband is delighted that I did not go shopping though the mid year sale has been on for a while. I have my baking passion to thank cos I have been busy in the kitchen!
Lately, I have been baking quite a lot and it’s been so enjoyable and fun! So now that I’m into baking, I’m shopping online for baking aids and other ingredients I can’t get in the stores! After my chiffon cake craze a month ago, I’m experimenting more in my baking and it’s been a wonderful learning curve.
Since I like cookies and light cakes, I’m learning how to bake them well. In the past, I would buy a pack of mrs fields cookies and have them for snacks. I have yet learned how to make soft cookies but for now, I’m learning how to make light cakes.
Yesterday I just ordered some yuzu juice for my baking and I’m still shopping for the right online store to buy my meringue powder – it’s been so hard to find the right ones. I think I would need to do my googling online and hopefully I can find someone to bring me some mini chiffon tins for my baking craze!
Priorities Differs for Everyone
Although I’m not a very sporty person, I still make sure I’m doing some form of exercise every other day. I used to do alot more stretches and cardio stuff but it seemed that my priorities are quite different now. For some people, their priorities for the week are centered around work while some would be focused on parenting the kids. Whatever it may be, just enjoy what you do and take pleasure in it.
My hubby is getting keen on mountain biking and I hope to join him in a trail bike experience one day. Some friends of mine are into garmin golf courses where they play at various golf courses every time but I’ve still yet to get a hang on that club! Next month, I would need to get on to some Pilates exercises and I’ve already had a gym membership awaiting me. It would be good to stretch my body again and I’m feeling a bit stiff with all the busy chores everyday.
On the upside, the weekends is up two days from now and I am planning to go shopping for some outdoor and ski jackets for our coming trip to Melbourne!
